AccommodationHotel and apartment style accommodation can be reserved in Stellenbosch through the intermediary of Turners DMC who has secured preferred rates for participants. All hotel rates quoted on the booking form are in South African Rands and are per room and per night, breakfast and service taxes included. Apartment accommodation is based on self-catering, no meals included, rates are per apartment and per night. Hotel and apartment category should be indicated on the booking form. Please also indicate which other category we should book in case the chosen one is fully booked. Accommodation establishments are within close proximity to the STIAS in Stellenbosch. The following hotels and apartments have been especially reserved for the conference and preferential rates have been negotiated on behalf of the event. Hotel rates include full English Breakfast Buffet, VAT at 15% and Tourism Levy of 1%. Apartment is self-catering, no meals included. All published prices are subject to change without prior notice. In order to reserve your accommodation at selected property or hotel, please click on the "book now" button. We request you indicate which alternate property/hotel or category we should book in case the chosen one is fully booked. On submission of your online form you will automatically receive an email response confirming that your forms has been received. All participating hotels including their respective rates can be found on the official accommodation page of the Conference website. All rates quoted are in South African Rands and are per room and per night, breakfast, 15% VAT and 1% TOMSA Levy are included. The hotel name including room category should be indicated on the group booking form. Group's accommodation agreement which outlines payment terms, amendments and cancellation policies and confirmation of group reservation will be emailed on receipt of provisional confirmation from Turners DMC. Signed copy of the agreement including the required deposit will be required within 7 days of receipt of agreement.

All reservations will be confirmed to you in writing with the name of the hotel or apartment, the type of accommodation booked, the arrival and departure dates, the rate, and the payment required. This will be accompanied by an invoice and request for payment.

Full payment will be required to secure the reservation. The payment may be paid either by bank transfer or by MasterCard, Visa, American Express or Diners Club credit card. Full details appear on the booking form. All incidentals charged to room account need to be settled prior to departure from hotel. For all group bookings (10 rooms or more), a 50% deposit is to be paid on receipt of the first invoice, the outstanding 50% deposit to be settled thirty (30) days prior to the start of the Conference.

Accommodation Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be submitted to Turners DMC in writing. You may cancel your reservation up to 30th March 2026 with a full refund of your deposit paid less an administration fee of ZAR115.00.
Reservations cancelled after 30th March 2026 will attract the following cancellation penalties:
Should you reduce the length of your stay upon arrival at the hotel, guesthouse or apartment, the establishment reserves the right to charge cancellation fees for the nights that you will no longer be using.
