Oral Presentation Guidelines

Thank you for your submission for the 12th International Symposium on Pollination. We are looking forward to seeing you in Cape Town and to your presentation/s.

Please find below guidelines for oral presentations to assist you with preparing:

  • Presentations should be prepared in Microsoft PowerPoint. MS PowerPoint 2017 to the latest versions can be used.
  • If your presentation has been prepared on a Mac, please allow a bit of extra time with the technician to ensure it is running smoothly. Please also bring your converter cables and adaptors with you, should the need arise for you to use your Mac to do your presentation.
  • Please take note of the following times to hand your presentation to the technician. Where possible we would like to encourage presenters to hand their presentation to the technician in the meeting room the day before their presentation and if this is not possible, please do so in the tea & lunch breaks prior to your presentation start time. • There is no set presentation template. You are welcome to use your organisations branding if you are required to do so.
  • The symposium programme is available on Programme at a glance - Pollination 2023 - Twelfth International Symposium on Pollination (ISPX11) (turnersconferences.com) Please check the programme regularly as updates may occur and affect your presentation time.
  • Please allow 3 - 5 minutes of your allocated presentation time for questions and answers or discussion. Session chairpersons will closely monitor time so that the programme does not run too late.
Good luck with your preparations and we will see you in Cape Town at the Kirstenbosch Botanic Gardens soon.
