The SAAFoST Congress will run from 20 - 22 September this year and make use of virtual event solutions that will propel members to its engaging biennial, international experience.
The state-of-the-art platform is exceptionally user friendly and allows delegates to intuitively enter the various venues in a virtual world. The entry point into the platform is from a central lobby, from where you can go to a help desk, auditorium, meeting rooms, networking lounge, exhibition hall or resource centre.
The programme, lectures, exhibitions and posters are scheduled to run in a similar format as is the norm for all previous SAAFoST Congress events - with the exception of the gala dinner which we will unfortunately have to forego.
The delegates will enter the lobby virtually and then click to enter the exhibition hall and engage any, and all, of the many FMCG companies present.
In the food industry we are accustomed to being able to evaluate potential ingredients in final applications and, for this reason, we’re inviting all exhibitors to submit shelf-stable samples that will be sent to all delegates in a ‘goodie bag’, thus offering the same sensory experience we would’ve had in a face-to-face exhibition hall.
The secure, cloud-based platform allows all the delegates to network via live chats, polls and social media.
