Reservations

Hotel accommodation can be reserved in Durban through the intermediary of Turners DMC who has secured preferred rates for participants. All rates quoted on the hotel booking form are in South African Rands and are per room and per night, breakfast, 15% VAT and 1% TOMSA Levy are included. The hotel category should be indicated on the hotel booking form. Please also indicate which other category we should book in case the chosen one is fully booked. Please note most of the hotels are close proximity to the Durban International Convention Centre.

Durban Hilton offers a further 5% discount for early bird (advance purchase) reservations up to the 01st April 2020.

Confirmation of Hotel Reservation

All hotel reservations will be confirmed to you in writing with the name of the hotel, the type of accommodation booked, the arrival and departure dates, the rate, and the deposit required. This will be accompanied by an invoice and request for payment.

Payments

Full payment is required to secure the hotel booking. Payment may be processed either by bank transfer or by Master, Visa, American Express or Diners Club credit card. Full details appear on the booking form.

For all group bookings (10 rooms or more), 50% deposit to be paid on receipt of first invoice, the outstanding 50% deposit to be settled thirty days prior to the start of the Congress.

All Early Bird reservations at Durban Hilton are to be pre-paid in full by 01st April 2020. All Early Bird reservations not pre-paid by 01st April 2020 will automatically revert to published rate as advertised on website.

Changes and Cancellations

Cancellations must be submitted to Turners DMC in writing. You may cancel your reservation up to 01st April 2020 with a full refund of your deposit paid less an administration fee of ZAR230.

Reservations cancelled after the 01st April 2020 will attract the following cancellation penalties:

• 59 - 31 Days - 50% Cancellation fees apply
• 30 - 0 Days - 100% Cancellation fees apply

An amendment fee of ZAR230.00 applies to all changes made to confirmed reservations.

You may cancel your reservation up to 01st April 2020 with full refund less administration fee.

Should you reduce the length of your stay upon arrival at the hotel, the hotel reserves the right to charge cancellation fees for the nights that you will no longer be using.

Early Bird Reservations (Durban Hilton) which are amended or cancelled after the 01st April 2020 will attract 100% cancellation penalty. All amendment requests received prior to the 01st April 2020 will be processed accordingly.

Please indicate your choice of hotel on the hotel reservation form. All rates are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and are subject to change. Rates include VAT at 14% and 1% tourism levy.

Transportation

Transportation between appointed Congress hotels and the Durban International Convention Centre will be for your own account. Many of the hotels in the Durban CBD and along the Durban beach promenade are within walking distance of the Convention Centre, should you choose not to walk then we would suggest one of the two following options:

• The People Mover (Inner City Bus Transportation) operates daily from 05h00 to 22h00. Please click onto the following link:

• Metered Taxis are readily available throughout the day and night. Please contact the hotel's concierge desk and they will assist you.
