IMPORTANT INFORMATION
RAMADAN
We are aware that Fertility Africa falls at the beginning of Ramadan 2020. We will have a designated prayer room at the Conference Venue and will make every effort to support the requirements of our Muslim colleagues. Hotels will make breakfast available before Fajr and an Imam will be leading the daily prayer at the breaking of the fast. Cape Town has a large Muslim population and is well suited to meet your needs while you are in the city.
Visa processing times vary depending on each application. Please allow sufficient time. Applicants from Nigeria should allow for 6 to 8 weeks according to the South African High Commission in Nigeria.
Conference organisers will gladly assist with provision of visa requirements and documentation.
The City of Cape Town takes the personal security of our visitors extremely seriously. The Conference Venue and its wider environment, the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, are very safe, supported by an appropriate security infrastructure.
The same applies to Cape Town International Airport and our many tourist attraction sites.
