Welcome to the SA Renal Congress Website 2022
We are glad to invite you to the 2022 South African Renal Congress, which will be held from 26 - 29 May 2022 in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. On behalf of the South African Nephrology Society (SANS) and South African Renal Care Society (RCCSA), we welcome your participation at this event.
The purpose of this meeting is to keep those associated with our organisations abreast of all the latest research and continually updated in the field of nephrology. The theme for the conference will be "Big Data and access to quality renal care." Focusing on the increasing burden of kidney disease and associated high financing costs, and how organised data sets, such as patient registries, and the upcoming national health insurance can increase our understanding of local disease patterns and delivered outcomes as well as assist in improving access to quality renal care.
We are expecting delegates comprised of various medical professionals associated with these organisations and those with keen interest in renal medicine to attend this conference. The meeting will be held at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre in the warm coastal city of Durban.
