Durban To Drakensberg (Meals Included: Dinner)
Depart Durban and drive up into the scenic Valley of a 1000 Hills, and on through Pietermaritzburg, which is the Capital of Kwa-Zulu Natal. Pietermaritzburg is steeped in history, and is a lovely old city.
Spend the day meandering through the midlands visiting the arts and craft shops along the way. Lunch will be taken in a country inn for your own account. We travel into the foothills of the Southern Drakensberg and overnight at The Himeville Arms in Underberg.
The evening is spent at leisure with dinner in the lodge.

Day 2
Sani Pass Trip (Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
After breakfast, you are transported up the spectacular Sani Pass, in a 4x4 vehicle, and across the border into the independent Kingdom of Lesotho. (Passports essential!).
The Pass climbs 1300m in just 12 km, in a 'hair-raising' switch back pattern. We visit a Basotho village and experience day to day life in this mountainous kingdom.
Lunch is enjoyed at the highest pub in Africa. This is a great experience of Basotho culture and the majestic Southern Drakensberg views. We descend the pass, and travel back to the small town of Howick where we overnight at The Howick Hotel. Dinner will be taken at the hotel and is included.

Day 3
Drakensberg To Durban (Meals Included: Breakfast & Lunch)
After breakfast we visit Howick Falls, which is an impressive 107 m drop. We depart Howick for our next adventure - The Karkloof Canopy Tour. It is a unique eco-experience that takes people on a 3-hr adventure through the magnificent Karkloof indigenous forest.
The canopy tour involves traversing from one platform to another along a steel cable suspended up to 30m above the forest floor. The tour comprises seven platforms and eight slides that zig-zag down a pristine forested valley. The scenery and birdlife is spectacular.
Lunch is included before heading back to Durban where you will be dropped off at your hotel at +- 16h30.
